There are 2 main types of sources....primary and secondary.
Primary sources are documents and images you have created yourself; even if you copy and paste web information into a document it makes it a primary source, as its somethig that you have created.
A secondary source is basically any information you come across on the internet; webpages, images, links, reviews ect ect. This is all information that other people have created and therefore you are copying it from them.
A standard way of working includes ensuring you always keep saving your data (ctrl s) and backing it up onto a USB everytime you have finished altering a document.

Where I use ICT
Grrr, ICT is used in SO many places!! However i mainly use it at home on my laptop, and i spend more time on the internet then i should :/
I also use it when i go shopping, as i often just use my card to pay for things, however i don't own a nectar card or any rubbish like that, so shops don't have my details on their systems database.
My mobiles too crappy to access the internet from it, as it takes soooo long! It takes me ages to travel from home to college, so i use ICT to get on buses and trains...i'd be a bit stuck without my oyster card! Obviously i do use the internet at school...but our schools so OTT that EVERYTHING is blocked, so the only thing you can really do is go on Google...and even then when you open up the links they all end up being blocked too :/
When i travel and end up at the airport, so much ICT is used there...at the check-in desks, the information boards...i think nowadays its hard to go somewhere without finding a piece of ICT equipment.
